Gnome Bobsled
Gnome Bobsled is a time trial on a bobsled track rather than an endless open hill. The goal is a clean descent with as little time on the clock as the ice will allow. Walls and banks punish a late turn, and a slide that looks fast can be slow if you scrub speed on every corner. Unlike the gift-collecting sled rides, there is no reason to wander off the racing line for a pickup. The fast path is the one that enters each bend early and leaves it pointed at the next straight. We do not have a developer name from the GamePix feed, so the credit line names the platform only. The feed marks the game as playable in any orientation, which is why the frame can sit in a normal 4:3 window on a desktop and still be usable on a phone held either way. Treat the first complete run as a baseline, not a failure. Note the corner where you always brush the wall, and enter that one earlier on the next attempt. Bobsled games reward memory of the track more than reflexes against random trees. If you wanted a surprise obstacle every few seconds, pick an endless sled instead. If you wanted a clock and a course, stay here.
How to play
- Start a run and follow the track from the top.
- Turn early enough that the sled is straight before the next corner.
- Avoid rubbing the walls. Contact costs speed.
- Finish the course, then retry and compare the time.
Controls
- Keyboard
- Left and right steer the bobsled along the track.
- Touch
- Tilt or touch, whichever the game shows on its start screen. Either phone orientation is supported.
Features
- Brake with a smaller steering input, not by bouncing off the wall.
- Look one corner ahead so the exit of this bend aims at the entrance of the next.
- Repeat the same track until the line is boring. That is usually the fast one.
FAQ
Sledding Games embeds Gnome Bobsled from the official GamePix player. We do not host the game file, and this page is not the official Gnome Bobsled website. The name, art, and trademark stay with its studio.
