Why are ski games not in the sledding list?

Sledding means sitting or lying on something that slides. Skiing and snowboarding are on your feet. Mixing them makes both pages less useful, so they have their own category.

Which of these work on a phone?

Portrait games such as the slope-king runs are built for a phone held upright. Wide racing games are happier on a desktop. Each game page says which it is.

Can I play these without an account?

Yes. Press play on the game page. Signing in is optional and is not required to load a game.

Ski & Snowboard Games

Ski and snowboard games are winter sports, but they are not sledding. You stand on skis or a board, carve a line, thread gates, or outrun an avalanche. We keep them on this page so the sledding collection stays about sleds. Some of these runs are tall portrait games meant for a phone held upright. Others are wide racing views that prefer a desktop screen. A title with Santa on skis is still a ski game, so it is listed here and also under Christmas when the theme is a holiday one. The games come from the same three distributors as the sledding shelf, through the embed address each feed publishes. We do not host the game files, and we do not change their players. If you only wanted a sled, go back to the sledding category. If you wanted gates, jumps, and a board or a pair of skis, start here.
