Santa Go
Santa Go, by GameBerry Studio, is a small Christmas puzzle dressed as a slide. Santa does not run the hill on his own. You draw the line he will glide along, and the goal of a level is to land him in the sleigh and keep him there for about three seconds. Obstacles get denser as the levels climb, and a line that looks pretty can still dump him if it crosses one. It belongs with sledding games because the motion is a slide into a sleigh, and with Christmas games because Santa and the sleigh are the whole theme. It is not an endless score chase. You will finish levels, fail them, and redraw. Phones are listed, and the view is landscape, so turn the device sideways. The embed is GameDistribution’s official address. Drawing games punish impatience. Sketch the route with your eyes before you put the stroke down. Check that the line reaches the sleigh, that it does not pass through a blocker, and that Santa will still be moving slowly enough to stay put when he arrives. Three seconds in the sleigh is the win, not merely touching it. If he bounces out, the line was too steep at the end.
How to play
- Study the level, including where the sleigh sits.
- Draw a line Santa can slide along without hitting an obstacle.
- Aim the end of the line into the sleigh.
- Keep him in the sleigh for the required moment to clear the level.
Controls
- Keyboard
- Click and drag to draw Santa’s slide path.
- Touch
- Drag a finger to draw. The distributor lists iOS and Android. Use landscape.
Features
- Flatten the last part of the line so Santa does not launch back out of the sleigh.
- Shorter lines are easier to debug than one long scribble.
- When a new obstacle appears, redraw around it instead of adding speed.
