Sled Line

Sled Line asks you to draw the snow under a moving sleigh. The sleigh does not steer like a car. It follows the stroke you put on the hill. A smooth curve carries it over a ramp. A sharp corner, or a gap in the line, drops it. The course is a festive downhill of obstacles, and the run keeps going until the sleigh has nowhere left to ride. That makes the game closer to a drawing puzzle than to an endless dodger. Plan the line a second ahead of the sleigh, not under its runners. If you scribble, the sleigh jitters and catches an edge. If you draw too late, it reaches empty snow and stops. Mouse and finger both work, which is why this one is friendly on a touch screen even though the feed does not print a phone badge. We load it from GamePix. The embed address includes a publisher sid that is still the public test value until our own GamePix account is in place. The theme is Christmas, so it also sits on the holiday page, but the thing you control is a sleigh on a line you drew. Play it when you want a sledding game that rewards a steady hand more than quick left-right taps.

How to play

  1. Start the run and watch where the sleigh is heading.
  2. Draw a continuous path just ahead of the runners.
  3. Lift the line over gaps and shape it so ramps are taken straight.
  4. If the sleigh falls, redraw a calmer curve on the next try.

Controls

Keyboard
Click and drag to draw the path under the sleigh.
Touch
Drag a finger to draw the same path. Keep the stroke smooth.

Features

  • Draw slightly ahead of the sleigh so you are never filling snow under a runner that is already falling.
  • Wide curves beat zigzags. The sleigh inherits every kink you draw.
  • On a ramp, make the line meet the lip flat, then continue it on the landing.
